BOOKKEEPER/JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
FULL-TIME POSITION

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
-
Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software.
-
Processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
-
Reconciling bank accounts and monitoring client account balances.
-
Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
-
Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records.
-
Managing Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) administration, including:
-
Verifying subcontractors with HMRC.
-
Preparing and submitting monthly CIS returns.
-
Issuing CIS payment and deduction statements.
-
-
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding VAT, PAYE, CIS, and other tax-related matters.
-
Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and management accounts.
-
Supporting our accountants with a range of bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
-
Building positive relationships with clients and responding to their queries in a professional manner.

Qualifications required:
- A degree or the equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Economics
​
Experience required:
- Minimum 12 months
​

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
FULL-TIME POSITION
​
Responsibilities Include:
-
Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.
-
Coordinate day-to-day accounting activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
-
Prepare tax returns and assist clients with their tax obligations.
-
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
-
Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
-
Support the preparation of year-end accounts and external audits.
-
Manage your own portfolio of clients, building strong professional relationships and providing high-quality advice.
-
Mentor and support junior members of the team where required.
-
Liaise with clients and HMRC to resolve accounting and tax-related queries.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Fully ACCA Qualified.

PAYROLL ASSISTANT
FULL-TIME POSITION
​
Responsibilities Include:
-
Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
-
Verify employee hours, overtime, salary adjustments, and other payroll changes.
-
Calculate statutory payments, including holiday pay, sick pay, maternity pay, and other employee entitlements.
-
Ensure PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions, and other deductions are processed correctly.
-
Prepare and submit payroll information to HMRC in line with current legislation.
-
Issue P45s, P60s, and other statutory payroll documentation.
-
Manage Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) administration, including subcontractor verification and monthly CIS returns.
-
Respond to payroll queries from clients and employees in a professional and timely manner.
-
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll legislation and data protection requirements.
-
Assist with payroll reporting and support the wider accounts team where required.
